Warm days of spring represent start of cooking season. This is time for a
year that lots of people dreaming of great cook out. If you really want
to have a gathering, you need to plan many things, from food to
entertainment. Besides, choose a suitable place is important. Let

Beijing

Daming Restaurant

Decorated in German style, this restaurant looks like an open countryside
eatery. There is a garden inside the restaurant, where you may have
self-made barbecue they provide equipments and food, such as sausage,
steak and vegetables. You'll have authentic German beer there.

Location: To the north of Lufthansa Friendship Shopping Center,
Liangmaqiao Road, Chaoyang District (Take bus 403 or 813 to Xinyuanli
Station.)

Sorabol Barbecue Garden

Sorabol is quite popular among Beijing's barbecue restaurants. There are
several branch restaurants of Sorabol, one of which has an outdoor
barbecue garden. It is surrounded by trees and flowers. They offer
professional barbecue equipments and good food, as "Guanniu Beef" which
is preserved and salted in a unique method.

How to get there: Take Jingcheng Expressway to Six Ring Road. Then move
westward and turn left when arriving at Xiaotangshan Exit

BB-Q

It is located in downtown Beijing's Asian Games Village area. Surrounded
a large lawn, the restaurant brings a fantastic feast. Renting a set of
barbecue equipment cost 50 yuan.

Shangzhuang Reservoir

The reservoir is not far away from downtown Beijing. Lots of people go
there on weekends. It is easy to find barbecue places for free. Don't
forget bring the equipments and food by yourself. There is no place for
renting.

How to get there: Jingcheng Expressway-North Five Ring Road-Shangzhuang
Road. Or you can take Bus 652 or 303 to Shangzhuang Reservoir Station.
