Does the winter cold stop you from doing outdoor sports? Never fear,
there are indoor sports to keep you fit when you don't want to brave the
chilly weather. The followings are the most popular indoor sports of this
season. Enjoy!



Defend yourself and attack your rivals with laser guns when play laser
tag.

1��Laser Tag: It's a high-tech laser game that uses four to 14 players,
and lasts up to 15 minutes per game. Players score by defending
themselves and attacking rivals with laser guns. The first game is RMB40
per person and each game after costs RMB30. Aim accurately because
afterwards you're presented with a readout of how well you were able to
blast your friends into oblivion.

2. Billiards: It's one of the most popular indoor sports among Chinese
people. Xuan Long Billiards Club is open 24 hours a day, seven days a
week. This is where you want to be for pool and snooker in Beijing.
Whether you're a fan of smoky atmospheres, tough-guy attitudes or angular
geometry, you know this sport is for you.

3. Indoor Hoops: Basketball was invented to give athletes something to do
indoors during long, cold winters. In Dongdan PE Center, everyone pays
RMB10 per hour to enjoy the sport.

4. Bowling: Bowling is one of the best sports for everyone, both young
and old. Gongti 100 is so named for its one hundred bowling lanes, but it
also features ping-pong rooms, kiddy rides, a full-on arcade and cheap
beers. It's best to go during off-peak hours, otherwise expect to pay
nearly double the price for a night of good fun.

5. Rollerskating: Come strut your stuff on the skating rink and later out
on their disco dance floor in New Trend Rollerskating World. Guys will
pay RMB8 while girls only RMB5 respectively during weekdays. (RMB15 and
RMB7 on weekendes.) Open from 10am-2am everyday.
